Why visualize CSV data in browser instead of a desktop app?

How it works

The first analysis may download about 1.8 GB for the on-device model. Once it is ready:

1. Open AskCSV in a compatible WebGPU browser.
2. Drop in your CSV (or a CSV/TSV spreadsheet export). It loads on your device without sending rows to an analysis server.
3. Ask a question in plain English, like "show monthly sales by region" or "which customers spent the most?"
4. Get a chart and answer. The built-in AI figures out what you mean, does the calculation, and picks a sensible visualization.
5. Refine by asking again. "Now break it down by product," or "switch to a line chart." Each follow-up updates the view.

You never write a formula or a query. You just talk to your data the way you'd talk to a colleague.

What you can ask

The point of being able to visualize CSV data in browser is speed of insight. A few examples of what works well:
