We used to charge a small day pass. Now Free provides 10 successful analyses per month with no account required. If you want unlimited successful analyses, conversation ZIP and chart PNG exports, deterministic two-file join or stack, and no ads, Pro is $5/month.

How can it be free?

Most data tools run every question on their servers. AskCSV is built differently: the analysis happens entirely on your own device, inside your browser. That avoids a per-question cloud AI cost and lets us offer a useful Free tier, while Pro funds the product and adds higher limits and multi-file value.

That also means your analysis content stays private by design. CSV rows, questions, SQL, results, charts, and chats are not uploaded to AskCSV or stored in a server-side analysis account, and you don't need an account to analyze your files.

Only pay if you want more

Many data tools put the first useful result behind an account or short trial. We keep occasional analysis available without sign-up: Free includes 10 successful analyses each month, while the recurring Pro plan is for people who need higher volume, downloadable results, or deterministic two-file combine.

So Free stays available with no account: open it whenever you have a CSV to understand and use up to 10 successful analyses per month. If you regularly need unlimited successful analyses, result exports, deterministic two-file combine, or no ads, Pro is $5/month and can be canceled from the billing portal.

Supported by simple ads

To keep the lights on, eligible Free surfaces may show ads after the required privacy choice. Analysis content is not provided to advertising scripts, and Pro removes ads.
